PlayStation is planning for a future beyond the television. Sony says hardware remains the base of its gaming experience, but points to PlayStation Portal and more flexible ways to play outside the living room. Its next platform is expected to widen those usage styles. A handheld PS6 is not confirmed. Portability, however, is moving closer to the center.
